Studio Luniste started off as a husband and wife team and has now grown to a studio of 6. We are so proud of the work that we’ve accomplished thus far and appreciative of everyone’s support. Our experiences with different types of clients have led us to provide a diverse range of services and it’s perfect as we all come from different backgrounds in the creative industry.

CHARLENE/ owner, creative director
I’m Charlene, Owner and Creative Director for Studio Luniste. I was born and raised in San Diego and studied Studio Art with an emphasis in Painting and Photography for seven years in college.
In college, I found my love of photography and how I connected to myself through this medium. Now having my own creative agency with my husband, Enrique, it’s been a whirlwind of an adventure– managing a talented team, working with amazing clients, and housing ourselves in a studio space in North Park… I’m so grateful.
I love experiencing nature, going to new places and tasting new foods, and finding the beauty in everyday life. Oh, I’m also a mom to two cute ass kids, Charlie and Lune. They are my heartbeat in all that I do.
Some everyday tasks include: photoshoots + editing, planning meetings, overseeing all projects, client outreach and weekly schedules.
Her biggest Virgo energy: She’s so adaptable to situations, so is awesome at keeping the mood positive even in stressful situations.

Hi, it’s Enrique, Owner and Producer of Studio Luniste. I’m from Tijuana and moved to San Diego when I was fourteen years old.
My passion for film started when my wife encouraged me to mix both my love of photography and music. My work is about documenting and capturing the unsung heroes through the lens and it became a way of connecting with people and community which gave me a greater purpose.
I love listening to the skips of a vinyl, the sound of drinking black coffee, and learning about the universe through philosophy books and spending time with my family.
Some everyday tasks include: video shoots, client meetings and editing.
His biggest Pisces energy: He likes to understand the story's deepest meaning and showcase those that inspire change.
JULES/ art director
Hola! I’m Jules, Art Director for Studio Luniste. I started off as a graphic designer and quickly fell in love with doing all things marketing.
I am passionate about helping people expand their business visual concept and executing exactly what they dreamed of. I plan and direct photo and video shoots, style, write video scripts and oversee all client communication and campaigns to make sure we’ve captured the essence of our clients.
I’m proud Tijuana born and San Diego raised, so finding ways to explore my culture through food, family, friends and travel is what I enjoy doing in my spare time.
Some everyday tasks include: client communication, reviewing projects, working on pre-production — mood boards, hire models, prop sourcing and creating shotlists.
Her biggest Leo energy: She’s a real badass who follows through and keeps our team and projects in check.
PAULINE/ video creator
Hii! I’m Pauline, one of Studio Luniste’s videographers, social media content creators, and backup photographers.
As a lifelong creative with a background in theater and music, I am incredibly passionate about visual storytelling. I believe that capturing genuine moments and emotions is the essence of my work, and I strive to evoke those feelings through our films + videos. I love doing trend research when it comes to videography and short form content, ensuring that my work remains relevant and engaging.
In my spare time, I enjoy experimenting with different styles and techniques with visual storytelling, constantly pushing the boundaries of my creativity. I love to go on adventures exploring different areas and I love spending time with my friends, family, my flock of 7 chickens, and my french bulldog, Russell.
Some everyday tasks include: content calendar, planning and strategizing content creation, pre-production planning, shooting video and directing reels.
Her biggest Capricorn energy: She makes sure we’ve checked off all our tasks at hand by adding structure to our video shoots. Also, she’s obsessed with a good spreadsheet.

Hello! My name is Lexie and I’m the Creative Content Strategist. Originally from the small but beautiful island country that I am proud to call home - The Philippines.
I moved to California in late 2018 to pursue my bigger dreams.
I specialize in creating high quality, authentic, scroll-stopping content on different social media platforms to expedite social growth and engagement for brands. As well as delivering content for clients that need help in achieving their creative & marketing goals. I’ve been a content creator for 7 years and in addition to creating content, I have a well-rounded background in graphic design, social media and art direction.
During my downtime, I love to explore new places, meet new people and continue to live life outside my comfort zone.
Some everyday tasks include: shooting + editing short form videos, assisting in premium videos and hyping the team up.
Her biggest Aquarius energy: She’s friendly and puts herself out there which helps bridge connections with our team.

Hi, my name is Teal and I’m a photographer here at Studio Luniste! I’ve been photographing since I was 14 years old, it’s the way I process the world, and it is an integral part of who I am.
I find purpose behind the camera, helping others feel empowered while telling their story, and bringing visions to life. From meeting with our clients for the first time, building their shotlist, help with posing and photographing them the day of their shoot, to editing and post-production, photography is my passion and I’m so thankful to share that with our clients.
Some everyday tasks include: shooting + editing photos, pre-production including shot lists and strategy and helping keep the studio organized.
Her biggest Pisces energy: She’s really good at collaborating with anyone she’s paired with, which always makes the experience really fun.
Our team values our clients and always tries to give them the best experience possible. The mix of our personalities make every session a calm and casual vibe so you never have to worry about feeling overwhelmed during your shoot, we’re here to help!
